Celebrate the first-ever California State Parks Week with us on Thursday, June 16 at 2:30 pm for Health and Wellness Day!

Join MendoParks and park staff for a "wildflower wellness" exploration at Mendocino Headlands State Park. Discover how flowers and pollinators need each other to survive, and we need them to thrive. We’ll begin at the Ford House Visitor Center and Museum for a brief wildflower talk with MendoParks docent Mario Abreu. Then, park interpreter Michelle Levesque will lead a pollination demonstration/role play and a “love song” sing-along from a pollinator to her flower. Bring comfortable shoes, layers, and a water bottle to continue the exploration with a pollinator flower tour around the Ford House gardens and a wildflower hike along the headlands trails. This program is suitable for all ages, so bring the whole family.
